Asil Designs owner and designer Lisa Pearce has always been inspired by art, culture, big cities and the people that surround her. A self taught jewelry artist born and raised in Thunder Bay Ontario and educated in the Niagara Region. She is now living in Penticton British Columbia with her wonderful husband, creating jewelry for a living, and loving every minute of it.
Always being a creative soul, with many years experience both personally & through her education, studying everything from Interior Design to Art Design Fundamentals & Graphic Design Production. She knew her passion for design would eventually become her identity.
Before she knew it she was teaching herself every jewelry technique she could, and transforming Asil Designs from a hobby to a full time career. [taken from asildesigns.com bio]
I met Lisa this past November at the Okanagan Artisan Guild Show and Sale in Vernon, BC Canada. Her handmade jewelry designs caught my eye and her welcoming presentation made it easy for me to approach her to discuss her work. Unique and original is how I would describe Lisa’s jewelry designs.
Especially unique is her Grapevine Jewelry line…Experience the Vine…
The Wine Line
These “One of a Kind” pieces of wearable art are created from grapevines found in the beautiful Okanagan Valley, BC Canada.
“Made with sterling silver and an assortment of semi-precious stones and charms, the “Wine Line” is a great conversational piece. Each grapevine design is handcrafted and unique in its own way. Light weight and easy to wear, each individual design is marked with the grape variety that it is made from. These designs make the perfect gift for both yourself or a friend.”
